Enjoy a warm welcome as a horse rider on the Great Victorian Rail Trail, the longest continuous rail trail in Australia.

The trail spans 134 kilometres from Tallarook, through Trawool, Yea to Molesworth and Yarck to Mansfield, with a spur line linking Cathkin and Alexandra. Watch out for the separate horse trails that are marked alongside the main trail in many places.

Ride along the length of the trail or try a half day, full day or overnight ride. Car parks are spaced along the trail for easy pick up and drop off at the beginning and end of a ride.

Take a leisurely stroll through one of many State Forests throughout the region or join an organised trail ride.

Soak up the scenery and pay attention to the environment from the vantage point of a sure footed horse right across the Heart of the Victoria.
