GALLERIES & MUSEUMS

No matter where you travel in the Heart of Victoria there is a gallery or museum waiting to welcome you. From the renowned Shepparton Art Museum to the sculptures of Bruno’s Garden in Marysville there is something for everyone.

Admire Australian artwork at the Old Post Office Seymour and the Old Courthouse Gallery. Visit Seymour's Royal Hotel, well known due to Russell Drysdale's famous painting of the hotel titled Moody's Market, named after one of its long term owner publican, Eliza Moody, who ran the hotel for 45 years.

Soak up some history at the Tatura Irrigation & Wartime Camps Museum and take in the Mooroopna Museum and Gallery’s extensive collection of nursing, medically and ancillary health items. Both Museums also house collections of Goulburn Valley history.

Check out the intriguing range of gems, crystals and minerals that are housed at The Rockery Museum in Longwood. The colours will excite your senses.

Travel the outdoor gallery, that is Greater Shepparton, and delight in discovering the Mooving Art herd.  An array of colourful, ever changing, 3D life size fibre glass cows can be found at riverbanks, gardens, parks and public spaces throughout the area.
